Can anyone provide links on how to find out if there are wells near your tract? More importantly… if your tract is in a unit? Or how to find out what the unit is for a particular well in PA?

Google “gas lease guide to internet research.” The first link is a message thread that I started. Lots of info. In general, the state handles the actual well permitting, but not leases, unit declarations or plat maps. Your county deed recorder is the place to look for those.
