# How to find oil and gas records

I have inherited mineral rights in 30 counties spread across Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, and South Dakota. I’m having trouble correlating the deed property descriptions to the royalty receipts I receive. A forum member showed me how to find well records (both current and historic) in Oklahoma, and this seems to answer my questions for Oklahoma. What do the other states have similar type databases available?
