I have checked the OCC well data finder and see some water, oil, and dry wells that have been drilled on my property but how can I tell if I have some oil still on my property without drilling?

It is more helpful to the forum if you give your county, section, township and range in the body of the text.

It would be better for an Oklahoma expert to respond, but in Kansas I’ve had to request copies of all paper well records for specific sections from the Kansas Geological Survey and also the Kansas Corporation Commission. I discovered that many more wells only existed on paper than in the electronic / GIS / well database. Oklahoma seems to have a lot more records digitized but I’m sure there is a repository of paper well records that may be a treasure trove.

I discovered the first well in our section was drilled in 1892! Also found wells in adjacent sections with production numbers that probably haven’t been seen in our area for a century. I was really amazed.

@MericanMint, looks like your area of interest is 18-22N-15E in Rogers County, Oklahoma. It does not appear that there is current production in this section, although at least 2 of the wells are still listed as active.

The wells in 18-22N-15E were mostly drilled in the 1950s or so with a few stragglers. Looks like they are P&A, Inactive or orphan. The depths are about 1000’. What well name are you looking at to think about reworking. I can look up the production.

I have been thinking about reworking an orphan well in a different sector 08-22N-15E. It is called Beckley Maggie. Its well number is 2 and its API is 3513101610.

I would also appreciate it if I had more info on the well called Kobala with an API number of 3513124924 because I had no idea it existed till I checked the records.

Since the wells are older, you probably need to use the old link. [Test](https://imaging.occ.ok.gov/imaging/OGWellRecords.aspx)
