# How can I locate these properties?

Back in the 1930s my grandfather purchased mineral rights for 40 lots in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. All deeds are for lots within a subdivision. One example is a deed that lists “Lots 19 and 20, Block 1, Phillips & Meade / East Side Addition.” Oklahoma County database doesn’t seem to use this type of property description. To my knowledge none of these that we own have ever been leased so I’m guessing it’s probably not a very productive area. But I sure would like to try to figure this out.

I found the neighboring properties: The described properties would be between 3rd Street and 4th Street just West of present day Blakeney Place, possibly in an industrial or drilling site just West of the railroad track.

Thanks!! Using this I did find quite a few of “my lots.” The plot plan was most helpful but there are additional pages that would be most helpful. But I couldn’t find them online. Could you post a link?
I’m really glad I’m looking into this as I’m seeing many deeds I have are not listed.

This is a link to all property records. There was significant drilling in this area at one time, so it is worth chasing. It appears that the plat in question is here:
