# Help identifying the United Oil & Shale royalty payment company

Greetings. **[United Oil & Shale - New Operator](https://www.mineralrightsforum.com/t/united-oil-shale-new-operator/86459) is the operator of many wells in Texas and Oklahoma. It appears that they are not the agency issuing the royalty payments. They have one telephone number in Woodford, OK that is never answered. Does anyone know which company is responsible for the royalty payments? Is there a better telephone number for United? Thanks for your help!**

United is located in Woodward, Oklahoma. Appears tele #1-8064404844. I have never heard of them, however they apparently are operating in TX and OK.

I only have the tinyest info from Texas unclaimed property. Plains Marketing referred me to United Oil & Shale. Their telephone number is a joke. Never answered and voicemail is full.

If you have an address in Woodward for them, send a certified letter return receipt with your concerns. List you name, address, location of minerals, clearly state your question and request an answer. Keep a copy of all correspondence.
