Is there any drilling activity in Glacier County right now? What kind of potential does the county have for producing in the near future?

Glacier County is pretty much dead. Alot of the major players pulled out of there in last year or so... Anschutz, Rodessa, Newfield, Quiksilver-- pretty much all of them... it had the makings of a significant play but fizzled after a bunch of test wells were drilled on the Blackfeet reservation and nothing of commercial volume was ever discovered. Call Jim Halvorsen at the Montana Oil and Gas Board and ask him about recent activity there... I believe a few smaller outfits are poking around but my advice is look elsewhere...
