# GeoSouthern Everything Unit

GeoSouthern just permitted a 9500’ horizontal well targeting the Goodland Lime. The 700-acre unit they formed, called the Everything, straddles the line between Anderson and Cherokee County. The drill site is 3.7 miles NE of Frankston but most of the 8000’+ lateral is projected into Cherokee County.

This is the first activity involving GeoSouthern I remember anywhere around there and to my knowledge the first mention of the Goodland Lime since the big EOG stealth play covering parts of Anderson, Smith, and Henderson County that died years ago.

Valence has been drilling Goodland wells in Smith County for a number of years… some of them have been quite good. They recently permitted a Goodland horizontal to be drilled from a pad in northwest Cherokee County extending into Henderson County:

Will be interesting to see how the GeoSouthern well does… could be more coming!
