I was called by a company out of the blue offering me a 5-year lease at $2,000 an acre for natural gas. I have no experience in this and need any direction I can get. He also said he would pay 17% royalties. I live in Elbert County, Colorado and own a little over 36 acres. He is sending me out a contract to review. I don’t know what to do. He also said some oil would be produced too. Please help!! ---

Pat, who is available to help answer questions? We have the same offer as Zac but it’s not the two gas and oil companies, Bison and Extraction, that have recently leased with my neighbors. ---
