# Did HB100 become Law?

Members, I need advice.
EOG only wants to lease 80 acres of a 241-acre mineral estate and have offered a “no drill clause.” This leads me to believe that we’re on the end of a horizontal leg or at least toward the end. If myself and the majority of the other mineral owners of this tract decline their offer, can they pool us anyway?

I think they are trying to narrow down their leased rights and still hold the better prospects. I know of several that they have done this to in the last few months. Most have agreed to this but their signing bonus was much smaller.
I don’t have any other answer and have not heard one.
