I need to transfer minerals from a trust to the beneficiaries. They are in a trust and the record shows my mother as the trustee; however, a few years before she died I became the trustee. How do I do this? Thank you in advance.

You should review or have an attorney review the Trust documents. There will be a provision for a successor trustee.

You may need an affidavit of successor trustee and a trustee’s deed for each county where the minerals are located. Each would need to be filed.
