Has anyone received any offers in Desha County, Arkansas for leasing their mineral rights for lithium?

I have received offers in Columbia County, they aren’t much and the royalties are not much, compared to the oil and gas prices. What have you been offered? Also, if you could please provide Section, Township, and Range! Maybe we can get more information! Good luck.

Litihium leases will not have the same royalty structure as oil and gas. Would recommend that you get a good mineral attorney to review any leases. I would not sign any of the drafts that I have seen so far. The type of well is also important as it depends upon whether the surface owner owns the pore space from brine from a saline acquifer or whether the operator or mineral owner owns the brine coming off an oil and gas well. Rules vary from state to state.

The Desha county side of Arkansas has not been very popular. A bunch of old dry holes. And looks like a bit too far north for the main Smackover trend for the lithium.
