# Declining Tyler County, WV Mineral Lease

Hi, like others who have posted, I was surprised to find I own mineral rights in West Virginia, as I live across the country. I was recently contacted by Antero Resources Corp, requesting to drill in my 0.0123697917 net mineral acres.
I am not interested in approving this, in no small part because of all the people who did accept Antero’s offers and who have had nothing but grief as a result. I have not seen here others who have or want to decline the lease. Does anyone have information to share about how they went about this?
I have already told them no, but they are persisting with calls and emails and increasingly threatening paperwork.
