# Deactivation of an Account

Users (usernames and associated name) are only able to be deactivated by forum Administration. This is done by our Anonymization process. This process establishes a completely random anonymous username with the content that you have contributed.
Should this be your desire, contact us.
Because most content submitted for publishing becomes part of dialogue with multiple parties, users are not able to simply “delete my account”.
