# Coal Mineral Rights Newbie

I have about 120 acres with coal mineral rights. A coal mine had previously mined out the land. Does that make the coal rights less valuable? Would a previous coal company mining on my property make a future coal company less likely to want the rights? Also, can a coal company mine outside of the county in which they’re stationed? I appreciate any help. Thank you.
