Cabell County has some good oil and gas production potential. The Rogersville Shale, the Berea Sandstone, the Trenton-Black River formation, and the Loysburg formation are all names that I’ve run across as interesting possibilities for horizontal fracking. If you have any questions about leases, pipelines, right of way agreements, or anything having to do with oil and gas development, this is a great place to ask.
