I am looking at 10 acres that is bordered by Wayne National Forest. A previous owner has kept the mineral rights. What is the probability that a company would put a well on that 10 acres in the future? Thank you.

The honest answer is no one knows. The mineral acres are usually dominant over the surface acres. Maybe someone in Ohio can answer better if you post a more specific location. If there is drilling in the area, then the probability may be higher. If there are no potential reservoirs under the property, then the probability may be lower.
