Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana oil & gas discussion. Feb 2012 Landmen are drawing up contracts for Oil, Gas & Mineral all over this parish. New to these proceedings this Group is set up for any landowner to join in the discussions.

Have had two contacts by Landmen. Cruthers Production Co Inc, & Cenla (Says they are with Pride Oil), both had the same basic contract just differences in their Exhibit A. Cruthers added a lot of paragraphs that took the liabilities off the Landowner/Lessor in case of trouble down the road. Also, paragraphs covered surface rights, a bonus check $5,000 per surface acre if a rig drills on our property, and cleanup of the land to close to normal as possible, a GREAT plus.
