I am trying to find out if I am the heir to 40+ acres of mineral rights in southern Latimer County and if so, having them put into my name.

Can anyone recommend an attorney in Latimer County or nearby that does this kind of research?

You can do a bit of research on your own.
[www.okcountyrecords.com](http://www.okcountyrecords.com) has digital files going back to the early 90’s. You can do a free search on names, locations, etc. and see if you can find the right person. That will save you attorney fees for the hunt. You may want to hire a land man. They are less expensive than an attorney as the first step.
