Complete newbie. Sorry. I am assisting a family member in arriving at a FMV for her land. The land (7 acres) sits atop a vein of high quality limestone and abuts a limestone quarry that has an interest in the property for future mining and extraction. How would she find an appraiser to arrive at a value for the minerals beneath the property. Thanks for any help
This forum is for oil and gas mineral ownership. Limestone is probably under the real estate category for the surface owner. See if you can find limestone leases posted in the county courthouse where land is located.
