Welcome to the forum.

Are you trying to determine the cost basis in 2016? You would need to know the value as of the date of death and six months after for the pricing. You can use the magnifying glass as the top right to search for other posts regarding the cost basis and capital gains issues. You may need a forensic evaluation. There are various ways to get the information. The Directories tab above has several appraisers. Then your CPA can help you with the capital gains tax percentage based upon the cost basis and your income tax bracket.
