Can you share the terms they offered? Are you already leased? Different royalty rates etc. can cause large differences in offers.

$1,500 per acre for 3.65 acres to purchase, not lease.

My info of $1,500 per acre should have read $2,500 per acre.

You should be able to lease for $2500.00/acre.
