I got offered 250 an acre 1/6 at 3yrs with Petro Harvester. Can anyone give me any info if it’s a good deal or should I wait. Appreciate any input. Thanks.

I can’t really say. A Township is a big place although most of your Township has had production for years and there has been activity of late. Knowing as little as you have provided, I would be inclined to wait.

I have seen numerous current leases in Burke County - written up and recorded every day - a lot this week. It would appear that mineral rights owners are signing whatever is set in front of them. Some are in your area and surrounding areas, and some in the areas of 163N Range 89W, which has been what I thought was this “line of death.” Things definitely are still going on in Burke County even though we aren’t kept in the know. I think by the looks of things, some operators are still looking ahead to the future…

I appreciate the info Mary. Yeah, the decline in oil prices doesn’t seem to be worrying them I guess because I’ve had the lease in hand for a month and a half and they still are wondering when I’m sending it.
