Did you also hear, they are fraking, now, with propane, say it is easier on the environment than with water?, also the deer populations may be struggling...???

Oh, did I? I can't find my way around so well... thanks, yes I remember now, Trenton! kool!

Yeah, many years, no doubt! I saw info that said Grenora (which I sometimes call Glenora/oops!) has a pipeline nearby, and also that the pipelines are overloaded with much business! It's all so fascinating to me!

thanks DC

I think you said Trenton before Kathy?   The  proposed pipeline would help more, but is going to take many years to construct with current holdups in Nebraska in their soft soil...

Hey they are planning on building a rather huge railway station up there, if I find the link in my miles of piles of notes I will post it here!

Could that be Billings, Montana?..That is too far south for the current drilling!!

I am also interested to know if there is a way for mineral rights owners to be made aware of drilling on the property and plans before a well is actually produced. Also how do you know if they set up a well near you that they are not drilling sideways to reach other oils rights properties?? I know they say they have to pull permits but how can you verify where they are drilling otherwise. My mineral rights are in Billings N.D.  Is there someone on this site whose rights are here too and can maybe help me with some information? It would be greatly appreciated.

Our property is in Climax Township of the Williston Basin. The surface owner has informed us a well is to be drilled on the property in April, with another a few months later.

1. I have heard that delays in "frac-ing" wells often occurs due to crew shortages. Is that correct?

2. Is there a way for mineral right owners to be aware of drilling plans before a well is actually producing?

We are here, waiting for Glenora to get some wells... they seem to be creeping up to that area... it's really remote, but Glenora's population is getting a boost from this "play"!
