Comment by Ron McKenzie on April 12, 2013 at 8:05pm: It cost $6,386,000 to drill well the in 5 . It looks like the well will pay that in less then 10 months. That is a little better return then at the bank.

Comment by Ron McKenzie on April 12, 2013 at 8:07am: Kershaw I found a pooling in 27-14n-23w were the oil co. was ordered to offer $2,667 for 1/8th ,2500 for 3/16th ,2100 for 1/5th or 1000 for 1/4th. I'll see what else I can find when I get back from town.

Our last lease on 1.5 NMA recently expired in this Section and Todco Properties is now interested. This has never been leased for less than $500/ac for 3yrs & 3/16...most recently for $1000/ac in 2010. Just wondering what kind of offers others are getting lately.
