Can anyone share any IP or production results from Wyoming Niobrara wells? About the only one I've seen was for the SM Energy well which sprayed oil.

Comment by Joe Wiesner on December 23, 2011 at 10:20pm I have a small interest in the rights in Sec 8 twp 11n range 37w. Does anyone know of any activity in that area?
Comment by Keith Kosmicki on August 25, 2011 at 8:57am I'm looking for information on a well that my grandfather Willis Reed and grandmother Grace Reed/Engel have in this area. My mother passed away two years ago and my uncle now says that us grandchildren have rights to this well. Any information is appreciated.
Thank you;
Keith
Comment by George Hageman on May 29, 2011 at 11:15am George, I believe the status of PA means Plugged and Abandoned. If you read the "orders" on the COGCC website you referred to for that well, you can read the latest by date coorespondence.

Comment by George Hageman on May 23, 2011 at 8:59am Does anyone know what the following might mean?
Formation Name: NIOBRARA Status: PA and specifically, can anyone interpret the information found at the following link: http://cogcc.state.co.us/cogis/FacilityDetail.asp?facid=10706060&am...
I've read the article referenced in my comment below but it does not provide me with enough info to make any sense of this information.
Thanks in advance,
George
Comment by George Hageman on May 2, 2011 at 10:18am There are several drill sites surrounding my property in Northwest Colorado (Routt County) that reports finding Niobarara Shale formations at about 5100 feet down. The area is heating up as far as oil/gas leasing activity. Does anyone know anything about the formation in that area? Thanks in advance!
