Phil - thanks for the info. Looks like we may finally have real numbers for some of the Enduro wells before long.
Sorry for the typo. Its 646 barrels
b rieger
There are 626 barrels in an acre inch of water. A regular sized pivot sprinkler covers 120 acres so a one inch application would be about 77,500 barrels. AT 50 cents/ Bbl = $38,750
A one inch application might produce 50 lbs cotton @ 1.00 if all goes well. So 120 Acres x 50 = $6,000
Steve
So far the Price and Wuensche locations are only permits. No pad construction. There was a new water well on the corner of the Wuensche place a few months ago but I don't know if Wuensche or Enduro drilled it.
Good to hear about the Enduro Preston well in addition to Ratliff. Has there been any activity on the other two permits in Lubbock Cty that Enduro got about the same time - Price and Wuensche? Price is southeast of University and FM 1585. Wuensche is near FM 41, south and a bit west of Ratliff.
Larry, yes it is the Preston unit instead of the Price. Thanks I'm hearing that the Ratliff and Preston are good wells.
Phil thanks for the information on water. The latest price we had heard was 50cents barrel. Just seems to me to be inexpensive water.
b rieger,
The price of water seems very negotiable because I have heard a wide range of numbers. Specifically, I know of a landowner in eastern Lubbock county that sold water at 40 cents / barrel late last year.
Last Friday I saw a coiled tubing rig at the Preston site and the same equipment on Monday at the Ratliff. Since both have been hydro-fracked, I think that means they were drilling out the fracking plugs. If someone has a better (or correct) interpretation please pitch in.
The Preston is on what would be west 34th street one mile east of the county line
The Ratliff is at Milwaukee and Woodrow Road
The Price permit is south of FM 1585 and east of University
